Driver Wanted For Fatal York County Crash, Pennsylvania State Police Say

Following a fatal motorcycle crash, the police are searching for the driver of a vehicle they believe was involved, PA State Police announced on Thursday, May 30.

The fatal crash happened on Interstate 83 North at mile marker 35.5, Fairview Township, York County at approximately 11:23 a.m. on May 19, 2024, PSP Trooper James Grothey detailed in the release. 

PSP Troop J York Patrol Unit has obtained dash camera videos of the moments leading up to the deadly crash and believes the black Dodge Caliber pictured above was involved but fled the scene. 

State police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the operator and/or the vehicle registration of the Dodge Caliber. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Noah McKnight at the PSP York Station by calling 717-428-1011.
